Not to add anything substantive to the debate, but the comments on Stu's posts were by me, not Andy. Contrary to some opinions, we haven't yet achieved hive mind status (and we even disagree about some things!) :-)

I think some of the confusion arises because Andy and I co-author eFoundations, and although we attribute individual posts correctly in the metadata in our feeds - at least, I think we do: I'll check again - the way some of the aggregators work seems to be from the feed-level metadata and they end up attributing everything either to both of us or just to one author, usually Andy!

I think your 'Guido Sarduci 5 minute history of the Dublin Core' is pretty darned good.

I guess the the other bit I'm going to have another swing at in my blog.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for laying this out.
