There is a blog post in my future about this. Part this mode stems from a recent article in the Code4Lib journal on using <a href="http://journal.code4lib.org/articles/86" rel="nofollow">distributed source code repository software for bibliographic record management</a>. Another part is from what I heard at the <a href="http://connect.ala.org/node/91406" rel="nofollow">ALCTS Midwinter forum on metadata mashups</a>.I think I remember mention of the SCELC consortium work with navigator, but Jay was going so fast that I know I missed things...
